FLORIDA KEYS, Fla. (SBG) — Forty endangered sea turtles were transported to the Florida Keys for treatment after they suffered from "cold-stunning" in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, officials wrote on a Facebook page for The Florida Keys & Key West.
The Kemp's ridley sea turtles were given free flights to the Turtle Hospital in the Florida Keys by volunteers with Turtles Fly Too.
Staff treating the turtles hope they will "warm up and be released back into the wild off another part of Florida," officials added.
