Latest Poll In Missouri Gubernatorial Republican Nomination Show Greitens In Front
ST. LOUIS —
The latest weekly poll by Missouri Scout shows Eric Greitens taking the lead for the Republican nomination for the race to become Missouri's next Governor. However, the poll shows a significant number of undecided voters.
The poll shows Greitens with the support of 29% of likely Republican voters. John Brunner trails behind in the poll with 22% support. Catherine Hanaway follows with 16% and Missouri Lieutenant Governor Peter Kinder trails last with 12%.
21% of voters polled were still undecided.
The statewide primary election will be held August 2nd.
The same poll found a tight race for the nomination for Lieutenant Governor. Kansas City lawyer Bev Randles edges Mike Parson 24%-23%. 46% were undecided.
The poll also shows the race for the nomination for Missouri Attorney General tight as well. Josh Hawley shows a slight lead with 30% support over Kurt Schaefer, who has 28% support. 42% of voters polled were still undecided.
