Trucks hauling tanks for SpaceX come through Heartland

MACON, Mo. — Drivers in Macon saw something unique going down the road on Monday.

Trucks hauling liquid oxygen tanks were reportedly heading to SpaceX in Brownsville, Texas.

The transports were around 170 feet long, and video provided to KTVO by Debbie Moffitt shows six axles on the trailer.

After crews worked to maneuver the rigs onto Highway 63 from their hotel parking lot in Macon, the trucks headed south.

They were later spotted heading west out of Moberly on Highway 24.
