Weber Chevrolet Heat Phone: Majority Of St. Louis Media Out Of Touch With Region
ST. LOUIS —
The Weber Chevrolet Heat Phone takes calls from anyone who has something to say. After Jamie fired back Tuesday night about the Post-Dispatch editorial opposing a deal between ABC 30 parent company Sinclair Broadcast Group and Tribune because Sinclair may lean towards a conservative point-of-view, one caller wants to know what's wrong with that?
Travis from Hazelwood says in a state that voted for President Trump by 57 percent, elected a Republican governor, and majority Republican representation in both legislative houses, why is the St. Louis print and broadcast media so overwhelmingly liberal and biased? Shouldn't the media covering the area be at least somewhat reflective of the audience in which it serves every day?
Another caller had high praise for the interview about prison reform with Jeff Smith, who served a year in federal prison and says that the country is being weakened by the U.S. prison system.
