Allman Analysis: Conservatives Extend Abortion Special Session In Missouri
ST. LOUIS —
A special session that started last Monday was thought to be over at the end of the week. A bill expanding stricter regulations on abortion providers passed the Missouri Senate. However, conservative lawmakers say the bill was watered down too much in the Senate.
Today, a House Committee advanced a stronger version of that bill, effectively sending it right back to the Senate, which will have to go back to debating it this week.
Political Insider Rodney Boyd stopped by The Allman Report to talk about how this bill came back, and how it will be hard for liberal opponents to get any laws overturned in the courts.
