Two teenage girls are dead after a car, driven by a 14-year-old, crashes in Woodward County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says just before 1 a.m. Wednesday, Woodward police tried to initiate a traffic stop on Madison Avenue. The vehicle then reportedly fled at a high rate of speed. That car then struck a curb at 20th Street, went airborne and rolled one time. Three of the five teenagers inside the vehicle were ejected.

All five teens were transported to Alliance Health in Alva in various conditions.

Officials say a 13-year-old girl was pronounced dead around 3 a.m. Another 12-year-old girl later also died of her injuries.

A 13-year-old boy was eventually flown to OU Children's Hospital and is in stable condition with a leg injury. Another 14-year-old passenger was treated and released.

Authorities have not identified the 14-year-old driver from Vici, who was treated for a head injury and released. It's unclear at this time what, if any, charges that driver will face.

The report says four of the five teens were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
