Wrongly Convicted Man Weighs in on Marcellus Williams' Case
St. Louis —
Governor Eric Greitens issuing a stay of execution to Marcellus Williams on Tuesday.
Greitens will be appointing a board of inquiry to investigate the case after new DNA on the murder weapon didn't match Williams DNA.
Williams was sentenced to death in 2001 for the the murder of Lisha Gayle.
A Lake St. Louis resident who was falsely incarcerated for 17 years and also faced the death penalty spoke with Andy Devine about why he is applauding the Governor's
decision in this case.
