Missouri History Museum Commemorates 160th Anniversary of the Dred Scott Decision
ST. LOUIS —
This Saturday the Missouri History Museum hosts the Dred Scott 160th Anniversary Festival of Freedom, a celebration of the legacy of Dred Scott reflecting on his sacrifice and commitment to justice for African Americans in the United States as part of their large exhibit #1 in Civil Rights: the African American Freedom Struggle in St. Louis.
The commemoration will include a theatrical performance, panel discussion, live art and music and activities for children.
