Jamie Allman’s Analysis: Confederate Memorial in Forest Park to be Removed by Friday

Jamie Allman gives his take on the news today that workers have resumed the removal of the controversial Confederate Monument in Forest Park, with the expectation that it will be completely gone by June 30th.

According to a press release from the City of St. Louis the city has reached a settlement with the Missouri Civil War Museum for the museum to to pay for the removal of the memorial and store it at their expense at their facilities in Jefferson Barracks temporarily until a permanent home can be found.
