Aldermen Debate Controversial Women's Bill

St. Louis Aldermen and alderwomen were at odds with each other on Friday for more than an hour over controversial bill 203 introduced by Alderwomen Megan Green and Christine Ingrassia.

The city ordinance would make it illegal to discriminate against a woman based on pregnancy or reproductive decisions like having an abortion or using birth control.

For instance, if the bill is passed a woman can't be denied housing, denied a job or fired because she is pregnant or decided to have an abortion. Allman Report's Andy Devine has the story.
